ICJA took part in the Digital Dialogue on Child-Centred Justice, organised as a follow-up to the 2024 Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, hosted in Bogotá.
The Bogotá Conference marked an important milestone, generating over 370 pledges from more than 100 Member States to end violence against children. Transforming these commitments into meaningful change for the one billion affected children requires sustained action, informed by evidence, shared experiences, and the voices of children, young people, and survivors.
The WHO and UNODC facilitated dialogue series provides a platform for governments, civil society, and experts to exchange on implementation strategies, highlight good practices, and encourage cross-regional learning.
Each session contributes to the broader process of annual pledge reporting.
ICJA was pleased to contribute to this global effort and to reaffirm the importance of advancing truly child-centred justice.
