Preventing and Responding to Violence Affecting Children in Child Justice Systems: A GLOBAL MAP
Around the world, children and young people continue to face systemic violence within justice systems that should protect and uphold their rights. This challenge is growing amidst global health, environmental, economic, and human rights crises, where political priorities often shift from child protection toward securitisation.
In collaboration with Baker McKenzie and its Justice in Action Pro Bono Sprints, a global research was undertaken and mobilised hundreds of lawyers and volunteers worldwide. The result is a comprehensive compendium of country-by-country reports, documenting how and where children experience violence within the very systems meant to safeguard them.
